Are there any U-2 or B-57 EDF models to be had?

Nothing like a high-aspect, big wing area jet to coax a sailplane pilot towards power.. (-:

I have designed a U-2 for electric fan 85 mm size a little unconventional konstructied because the Tube inside is the mail baring element in the whole construction ..
send me a mail with you email .... and you can have the acad drawings for free.
only send me pictures as you build it.

Lanier makes a foam freeflight glider model of the U-2. It's not all that scale, but it's light enough and big enough (like 600 squares on the wing!) that yopu could add some detail and still get it to fly. I converted one to rudder/elevator with a geared Speed 400 motor. Power is from a Radio Shack 9.6v 1600mah car pack. Flies like any parkflier, just has five-foot wings! Tower used to have them for $20.
