Status: offline 		is anyone else having issues here on RCU ? some threads i cant access at all, they just keep hanging, and every once in a while errors pop up ... Just wondering if its just me or not ?

Status: online 		I was about to raise this in the mod forum.

There is a workaround but it doesn't work for very long. If you delete your RCuniverse.com cookies (or all your cookies if you don't know how to get to the specific RCU ones), the problem goes away until you log back in again. Once you log back in again, it's just a matter of time before it hangs. It's definitely a cookie problem, as everything works perfectly until RCU reinstalls its cookies again. Try it. I'm going to raise this in the mods forum.

Status: online 		By the way, it would be helpful for 'da manidgement' if you guys having problems could post what server you are on (RCU has many). You can see this information by going to your 'MY ACCOUNT' screen in the blue links bar right at the top of every page, scrolling all the way to the bottom, where you will see some light (very light, look hard for it) grey text thus:

RCU4 | xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx | 167759 | 1 | 04:47:30 PM EST | YC

In my case, I'm on 'RCU4', as identified by that first block of characters.

Status: offline 		Seems like these problems have been going on and on for a while now. I know it gets especialy bad if your using a mobile device. Im not going to bash the forum or anything since I figure its probably a beast to keep a site like this one up and running right. However, if I had a mind to start up a build thread right now (Im realy to lazy for that I prefer to lurk) I would probably be doing it on RCG. At least over there I would be able to uplaod my pics on the first try and people following me would'nt be going mad trying to veiw them.

Status: offline 		I am on RCU2. I have problems with hanging when changing pages. I have found if you click to change a page & it is hanging, click on it again & it changes quickly. If I don't, it hangs forever.
Also if you have typed out a post & try to enter it & it hangs, quickly copy it, or you will lose it when it times out. You can then paste it & try again. It is a real pain if you have typed out a long post & it gets lost.

Status: offline 		I'm running Firefox on a Linux box, and it's the same here too. I think it's because of all the flash ad content they're trying shove down our throats. In a non-scientific study, I seem to find that the sites with heavy ad content hang more often. Don't know if there's a handshake that gets lost somewhere, but that's my 2 cents.

Status: offline 		I checked my server connection. I'm attached to RCU2. I don't have any issues at all. Works first time every time. Perhaps it is an issue with a particular server or perhaps a connection between 2 or more. Did anyone report it to the administration? Just curious.
