Okay been lazy lately so still working on getting all the bling added. Lights are all installed minus the wingtip lights and I just need to plug in the controllers and add battery. The super detail kit from Detail4Scale will be the last thing I add to this jet. All the parts have been painted and I will be making a video showing the location of everything once installed(this should help somepeople).
On a side note I just wanted to say that since the FEJ 1/16 has a few more scale details built into the kit you will not need all the parts that Dan sends you. His detail kit is for the skymaster version. The FEJ has four parts already and I will highlight this in my next video. So before anyone jumps on it I AM NOT saying one is more detailed than the other, im just saying FEJ 1/6 scale F-16 has these items built into the mold.

The K170 flew the jet great, seems to climb out better and top end speed is faster. Sorry no video just forgot to bring a camera, sorry guys I will get one eventually.

Oh and yes I will be making a video on the cockpit install, once I make a new seat

Okay finally got everything glued on that im going to here are some pics and should help people who are trying to figure out where everything goes. The last few are the things FEJ has vs Skymaster.
I will uploading a new video this even showing all the lights, afterburner ring and super detail kit, plus for the FEJ fans and maybe FEJ fans I have some really exciting news I will talk about in the video!

Great job fender, i too did not use some of the detail items for the same reason, one small detail for further scaling that i noticed on real f-16 and i dont know what is it are the panels just aft of the 2 antennas located on the belly just above the duct are painted in grey/silver so i did paint them also.see picture

2 1/2 gear down landing, had some crazy gear problems today. Lucky for me I got it down and had one small spot that rubbed the ground on the left bottom fin, and some paint touch up on the gear door were the wheel rubbed.

Also I would recommend replacing all the black plastic ball ends for the gear door connections. Mine have either cracked or broke, easy fix since I fly helis as well just used one of those and much stronger.

As for the gear I would have been fine but that left main hung up on the door, I have had gear not go up all the way and come down right but just cycling the gear switch fixed it. Same would have worked today just had the gear door got in the way and I think I have a bad motor.
I was lucky just some touch up paint in spots you cant even see well

gear will be sent back to down and locked, I got an email back from Mitch right after I sent mine. Im worried the gear may just be to heavy for there actuators or the cut off amp is to low well see.

Okay guys, for those who have either been wondering about the new gear or have it for the 1/6 scale this is for u. The new gear design is good to go, some changes I don't understand but hey im no engineer, others i understand and glad they did. The Jets a little bouncy now and less stable on landings from the air struts so do yourself a favor tame your steering down some You do have to mod the nose gear mount but its a simple 1 in by 4 inch 1/4in ply glue in for two screws is all. The arms on the gear are longer due to the increase weight/mechanical advantage needed of the gear so you dont have much room for error or the arms will hit the bottom bypass and turbine. No more threaded rotation points!!!! all pins except for one spot, the nose gear has one but it will not be a problem. Best part of all the force is transmitted to the support arms when the gears down/locked, not the air cylinders or electric motors in my case. I did have them converted to electric, some of the old stuff was used but they do make some changes so its going to cost you about 300.00+ to have them swap over your old motors to the new. Plus this gear has no place that can bend from hard landings so this will also prevent problems from binding in such a complex gear.
I dont see this gear having toeing slop at all from usage which was a major problem with the old style. Hope this helps anyone, oh and the gear based on info from others is to scale, tires that is, appears the old gear nose wheel, which is smaller is now the correct size and larger for you grass field flyers I know this will help.
If you are having problems mounting yours pm me I can help some.

Fender, your post made me fall in love with F-16 finally. I eventually ordered this model with valley tank and got it after 3 month from FEJ in China!!!!!! That 3 month was enough to make me crazy. I've sent e-mail several times and got delayed answer over and over. I don't know why! When I checked it after receiving, they also missed my valley tank. I sent e-mail again, but no responding now. I'm not sure other maker also same as FEJ.
When I looked into this kit, there are so many things to do to become like your great model. I think it's not perfect kit. Personally this kit is 7 point from 10.
Well, actually I want to ask one thing. Do you know what this part is below picture? Fins is written on the tag but I don't know how to use it.

suhakkogi, what scale is yours and what material? i have same color in 1/6 scale with new material honeycombe and is perfect.
To make yours look perfect as well you need to buy detail4scale lights and details kit(antennas-pitot etc) and add them on.

Nicos
