I have a few "BUDGET" gyros and the GY48V is not to bad as long as there is very low vibes and a good servo. I am going to get on e of the $10.00 MEMS gyro's from HK.

I have tried many of the cheap gyros.. the best by far (in my experience) is the Hobbyking 401B Gyro

But you have to do the hot glue fix and use 2 layers of foam.. if you do that it is Perfect!.   Here is one on my Gaui 550.. watch how steady it holds the tail while inverted..

Status: offline 		the CopterX CX1X1000 gyro works nicely for its price.. i have tested it on a couple of helis.. and it hold rock solid...
