Hey Guys,

I'm looking for some wheels n brakes for a large turbine powered UAV up here. Unfortunately I can't seem to find much beyond the following:
4" (Intairco)
4.125" (BVM Rafale)
4" (BVM Mig-15)

Does anyone have a lead on wheel in the 5" range, with integrate o-ring brakes?

They'll need to be a decent durometer, since the plane will be on the heavy side at time. For perspective, it'll have 2x P-200's for power, flying in a variety of weight scenarios with the upper limit approaching 200lb. We'll only need to handle an aircraft around 100lb flying weight or so to start with though. There's a possibility we could go with dual main gear wheels per leg if loading per wheel becomes an issue later on.

Please Let me know if you have any option to suggest. To start with, anyone know what the diameter of the main wheels are on the Mibo A-10, and if they might be an option?

Thx,
Kelly

BVM Rafeale tyres are OK to 200lbs and 100mph. Dont park it on wheels lift on stand.

I'm not sure if these will work, but here is a 6" wheel w/ brake from Matrix Machine. You might want to see if they have something.

Hey Kelly,
Glennis makes wheels for the Comp ARF Mig 29 that are 5 1/4" I believe, they use the Glennis pressure plate brake, much more aggressive stopping than an O ring brake, might be something to consider if the UAV is going to be that heavy.

Tom Cook makes a nice set of tires and brakes for the Firebird, which we are using on our 4m span UAV.

We manufacture wheels and brake systems specifically for UAV operation, they are not converted model airplane parts.

Contact us with your specs, and I'll see what we can do.
