Looks pretty cool airbrushler...Is it going to be used as a mailbox.?

Living out on a country road here mailboxes take a beating............either by the snowplows or moron kids who seem to think bashing them with baseball bats is great intertainment..I did catch one carload of kids one time...Don't think when the dust settled they though it was very funny.

THAT looks great! My home owners association would have a COW if I did that! They freaked out earlier this year with just a faded lettering on the box and sent us letters wanting us to "re-paint" them as well as others in the neighborhood had rusted and dented boxes that were worse.

And they are still like that too. I replaced mine and really went farther than what they wanted, but at first I was going to paint the old box PINK... just to piss them off for the damn letter. LOL

Nice work on the flames.

Panther F,
Is there any way you can delete all the spaces from you signature. At least that's where I think they are. It really takes up a ton of space and makes the threads harder to read. Just a thought for consideration.

I don't think you will have any competition on your service. Will you be invoicing by the hour or by the square foot of snow removed?

Square foot...     The fun part is that I filmed it at a cabin I manage for an out of state owner...   I bill him for snow removal and I sent him a copy of the movie!  He loved it!

A little update on my dollhouse project.....It does consume a lot of time. Going to be a lot of flawes and a few stains here and there. But it will still look ok i think when it is done. Not trying to build this as a show piece by any means...and it won't be.

I have been using mostly super glue for the construction and its not the glue to use.If i was going to paint the house super glue would be ok....but on this house i'm going the easy way with stain and shellac on most of it and the problem with super glue it leaches out from most of the joints and the stain will not sink into it so it shows along a lot of the joints. One should use elmers white glue on these houses but the draw back is clamping the joints and waiting for the glue to dry all the time.I have a lot of clamps..but found out i need a supply of a lot longer clamps than what i have.

Using tape will kind-of work to hold pieces in place, but its a pain and clamps work the best as it is hard to get the joints tight and to stay tight with tape.

I'm pondering the idea of buying another one to build that is twice the size of the one i'm working on now....And if i get that one i will put a lot more care and effort into its construction. This one is a live and learn model. This model i'm building now consisted of 9 sheets of stamped parts and there is a hell of a lot of parts in those 9 sheets. The one i'm thinking of next ....weighs 53 pounds and has 38 sheets of parts and is 40 in. high.....30 in. deep ...and 42 in. long.........Its pretty big...This big one is still in the ( thinking about buying stage ) as it looks as though it could take months to build if one wanted to do a realy good job on it.Not going to hit the buy button until i get closer to getting this one i'm on now done and then consider if i want to take on that big a project. The cost of the kit is not bad..$215.00 dollars......the one i'm on now was $70.00 and they are both built by the same company so i know what to expect if i buy the next kit.Still have a lot to do on the one i'm building now....they are fun to build....(at least i keep telling myself that )................

BIGMIG,
When I built the house for my granddaughter, I read somewhere that you could use hotmelt glue to put it together. I ran to the art store and got a hotmelt gluegun and
glue sticks for a few dollars. It took a little practice but man what a time saver. After all the sanding and prefitting the whole basic structure went up in a couple of hours.
