First of all I'm sorry to bring this up but I have been trying to set this up and I'm not getting it to work. I have my throttle set up so that the carb is slightly open. I'm doing this at home for the moment so I'm not starting the engine. I'll play around with the idle setting at the field. I then go into the Throttle cut setting and set my switch up to SF. So far so good. I then activate it, no problem and look at the screen with the ACT, POS and SW. I'm showing that the ACT is either ON/OFF (depending on where my throttle control is) and the SW is showing SF. The POS at the moment is shwoing 17%. This is currently in line with my current throttle position. What I want to do is to be able to lower my throttle position by thowing the swith to ON so I thouight that by lowing the POS to, say, 10% then when I throw the switch my throttle should lower itself so the engine gets cut. That's what I thought this switch was all about, but when I do that nothing happens. The throttle doesn't move, so am I thinking that this isn't what the switch is all about or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for all you help, Dean.

Okay, I worked out what I was doing wrong. Instead of setting up the throttle by reducing the movememnt, I should leave that alone and adjust the settings on the physical servo/throttle arm. Then once I have that set up using the throttle cut works. So the answer to this is 'Don't be in a hurry to set up the throttle first by reducing the throws!".

We're glad to see you found your answer! Many times, it's simpler than we think!
