I'm not building my mig myself but my friend Binson.  He is doing a great job so far.  I try to go over a watch a learn as much as possible.  I would like to try and assemble my next jet .   Thanks to all the guys that help me so far: Tuan, Binson, Orlando, Oli, Barry and Dr. Rodriguez, Kevin and all the guys at the field and on rc.

The Mig was my first jet but since then i now have the tam's f-16 1/12 edf and pst with AMT.  I Flew the Tam's Jet yesterday and it flew well.  Hopefully I will fly the PST tomorrow.

This Bird is Huge.  1/6 scale.  the 2nd pic  show where I put a carbon fiber cloth on the inside of the rudder and all the wings.  That was really my only attempt of building the plane.

Here are a few pics of me loading up the mig to bring to Binson's House.

That's Barry's Awesom Corisar, that thing is beautiful.  The detail is unbelievable.

Does anyone have pics of there electronics installed in a mig 29.  Trying to get an idea bout the lay out in the nose area.

Also anyone use the fej 5 valve.  We are having trouble programing it to work the canopy up & down and lock.

thanks

Hi There,

I checked my photos, and unfortunatly I did not take any photos of building and or install of components. I never thought I would lose this bird after only 10 flights.

1. Save weight and time. Hook up one of the air valves that came with the kit in the front nose to activate only the locking latches for the canopy. Remove the grey nose cone to get to the air valve. The barrel on the air valve slides by moving it with your finger, back and forth. You need to conserve weight everywhere on this bird. In this case, when you manually unlock the latches, just lift up canopy and FG tub to get into fuse and electronics. Move everything to forward position. I needed no extra weight in nose.

Good luck,

Kevin

Thanks Kevin,

We are trying to keep it light as possible.   My plans it to put 2 k170s at 36 # thrust.

Mister Wap,

I've always wanted to build a MiG-29... Good luck with your project - it's gonna be cool. Have you had a chance to fly Tuan's (or is it yours now?) PST Reaction? I'm the other Blu/Yel Reaction guy that was at Austin this year...

Hey Ron,

Yes it has been my PST for awhile .    Yes i got to fly it once so far, it wasgreat, i'm still smiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Tuan and I was using a buddy box, of course, as i was flying we did not know while Tuan was holding the trainer switch it was causing the air to leak out of the gears.  Taun had to do a belly landing on the runway, it was awesome, no damage just few scratches.  It took us awhile to figure out the leaking problem but everthing is working great now.  We are planning on flying the pst this sunday.

I these pics Binson decided to extend the digital reader to the hatch so we do not have to take out the cockpit each time to pump air.  We also have the air fill valve in the back and also a way to charge batteries in the hatch area.

Yes, I went with 2 sync k170F.  Thanks Barry.   Barry stated that since i need to sync k170f they had to come from Tawain and it would take 10 days and On the 10th day i received tracking # for the turbines, arrived in 3 days.   Thanks again for the super service Barry   ps i sent you an email about k140f.    Also just an added bonus the turbines match the plane, How cool is that!
