I have a Hitec Eclipse 7 FM with the Spectra module. I hooked up a trainer cord to a Futaba 7CAP. The system worked for a few minutes, then is suddenly stopped. The display read something like 15 volts!  We unhooked the radios, and now the Hitec is no longer functional. When I turn on the transmitter, the display still reads 15 volts, and the servos go to extremes and stay there. I tried putting the battery in my other Hitec Eclipse 7 ( I have two of them ) and everything was fine. The affected unti is about 2 years old this month. Any ideas? What did I do to my radio? The Futaba was running a Lipo battery. It's display read 12.1 volts.

Thanks!

Bob

OK, just did a little searching and discovered this was a polarity issue. And it seems to have been a fairly common mistake. Can you give me some idea what my mistake will cost to repair?

Thanks...

Bob
