strongmankb -> Batman Forever Batwing EDF Challange (7/13/2011 2:24 PM)

Has anyone out there built or thought of building the Batman Forever Batwing?  I recently found a good 3 view of it.  Althought I believe the wings should be tapered without the large bumps shown so that they are flatter.  This is shown in the toy picture below.  If anyone needs better pictures I have the toy and can take any angle needed.  I would love to see an EDF of this fantastic aircraft.

I built an 80 inch version of the batwing-from keetons first movieI can tell you that those foreward swept wings will throw your cg too far forward pith stability will be hard to fix-search batwing in jets

I have built the original Batwing in an 80 inch version turbine powered and I can tell you that the version you are thinking about building would suffer from the instability of the forward swept wingsCG location would be nutz! Here's a pic of mine

Do you have any video of your batwing flying?  Chris Allen has a batwing similar to the one I'm planning on building called the bat from hell.  He has flight videos on youtube. I also love the dragon you built!  Awesome job!
