    Gosh, I get all sentimental having these aussie blokes hanging around my fav thread. I used to live on the Gold Coast when studied for my commercial license.

    the plane flies awsome no bad habbits , I found the elevator really sensitive for the first couple of flights ( i usually like my planes to just stall when i reach full back stick on idle and low rates) no tendency to do any wing drops though it just stalls forward , I have my low rates down to 20% my high rates are 120% throw or about 35 degrees each way

    It looks like it . last couple of weeks have been good . we'v been havin some really good rain . I dont mind rain especially where we live but does it have to come down on a sunday ? i was able to get 2 flights in before before the heavens opened up though

    I took a PA28 Archer and flew up along the coast north bound, via Hamilton Island, thru the outback with some various stops, Mount Isa, to Alice Springs, then back to the coast via various stops. Beutiful country and to be honest kind of miss it at times. Def one of the better places to learn to fly caused by the variety of nature and airspace (i fly in Europe and have been flyin in the US.
