Hello Chevelle.

I obtained the RN model from one of the local hobby shops and it's setting in my basement in the box. That is as far as I got.

I'm still sort of attempting to get information on the plane but other things have taken higher priority at the moment.

Hope this answers your question.

If you read the others entries you will see that the RN model is available and where you can get it. Drop me a PM with your email address and we'll talk about how to get a copy of the plans.

If GordonW is out there, we'd like to hear from him. Peter Hillwood, the WW2 pilot was the son of Felix, our Grandfather Isidore's brother. We have a few photos etc (but not much) and are trying to track down the Hillwoods who we don't yet know. caroline@morrissey.ch

Hi davinci - it's been a while - right ? Is this thread still running ? I hope so. I don't see any references to the results of your labours on the AVRO Triplane ? Have I missed something ? If so, it's not surprising as I moved house into the country which entailed finding a suitable piece of land with a nearby flying field, then designing the house to put on the land, supervising the building of same etc etc etc - and now ? Doing the landscaping and gardening ............. which has all taken up a lot of my spare time (what spare time ?). Well yes, there is a little time for flying a bit - but I haven't done any building for about 2/3 years.
So, that's it from my end. How about yourself ? Is the AVRO finished ? Have you flown it ? Would love to hear about it pleasae.

Caroline - GordonW says he's made contact with you. Unfortunately for me, he was not the GordonW I was looking for. MalcolmL
