My Aurora 9 transmitter "Channel Function" screen shows the followng:

Ch6 - AUX 1
Ch7 - AUX 2
Ch8 - AUX 3
Ch9 - AUX 4

The Aurora 9 Manual contains no references to "AUX" or "auxilliary".

I assume that these channels are available for various functions to be programmed by the user.

I want to program channel 6 to activate a servo for an engine kill switch. How is this done ?

Typical example page 68 of menu is a Gyro - there are several prenamed selections.

The auxillary channels will change depending upon the inital model setup, Ch6 may be labelled as Flap or Aileron etc and these can always be reassigned.
For your intention, simply plug servo into channel 6.
Select System Menu >  [CHANNEL] and beside AUX 6: tap  [NULL] > [SEL] AND THEN SELECT desired switch.  say "G" for simple On/Off (or even one of one of the extra trim buttons for controlled short throws..
Visit Model Menu [Monitor] and you will see Ch6 is then operative as On/OFF, reverse servo if necessary under the Model Menu [Reverse] window.
