I am reopening this thread. But if you look closely you will see that parts of this thread is missing. I have removed a chunk of this thread because a few people have tried to cause problems here. If you don't like the thread subject then my best advice is to simply move on and not post here. But don't come here and attack a member because you don't feel the same way that the OP does about his dog. It's just much easier to move on to something else than to attack a person because you don't like the same thing that he does. For those that are causing the problems, I would recommend you move on because if I see stuff like this again then I will deal with it.

RCU is a simple place. You can pick and choose the subjects you want to discuss with others. There is nothing that says you have to comment in every thread on RCU, so if you don't like this subject or you don't have anything constructive to add then you can simply move on and not post here. It's just that simple. If you don't like the subject simply go find one that you do like.

Ken

Actually Joe, it would have been the first Curtiss with tricycle gear, there were numerous planes that had tricycle gear before the XP-55

It really depends on the person. I flew for awhile, but it just doesn't give me the same kick my cars do.

madmanandrew- yeah i guess so. i used to only drive up and down my street which got really boring.

Paul_BB- thanks. now all we need to wait for is the pad to build up again. so he can't go out for a walk until his pad is built up.

Thanks for the corection , i have not done to much reserch on the history yet as i am more interested in how to make my plan bigger and try to make it a larger electrict plane. I am not afraid to build it with nitro or gas but electrict would help with the cg problems this one will have. I would like to build this one at maybe 80 inches or so. That way i could attend large scale flyins and warbirds funflys also. My solent was at a 99 inch wing but it had four motors so iam cutting back to one motor in my old age. lol joe
