I bought a 7 cell Sanyo 2400 mah pack with my Corona. The first tiime I charged the battery at 0.2 A (200 mah) and it charged 3300 mah before I stopped the charger (Supernova 250s). When I discharged at 3 A, it only discharged 2200 mah. I since charged and recharged the pack several time and only took in 2200 mah before the charger stop.
I have another battery pack Sanyo N1700SCR for elec car that takes in 1900 to 2100 mah and discharge about the same ampereage.
Why is my new battery pack stop short of the specified amperage? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

try discharging it at 2.4 amps. it should last an hour. hence 2400mah. a 2400 mah batterie will put out 2.4 amps for an hour. your discharging it too high.

If your using Nicd's try using the auto feature on the Supernova charger that will take alot of confusion out of charging!!!

If your using Nimh's,, select your preset then use the down and up to get the 2.4 amps that Anythingrc is suggesting

I tried the manual and automatic on this pack still I can get the 2400 mah. I even discharged the cell individually last night by sticking needles between cells. Still I can get the 2400 mah. I think one of more of the cell has lower capacity that limit the charge on the pack.
