All my fellow Micro SCT owners come talk about these little but amazing trucks. Here's mine right now. Mostly bone stock, in fact, completely stock! So what's your Micro SCT like?

yeah i know about the 2.4 and BL for it. i'm gonna get the 8750KV BL system for it sometime, hopefully this winter when i have some more time to run it. i already have a 10 model memory 2.4ghz system for all my cars so i'll just put a receiver in from that. is that a carbon fiber chassis on yours?

Here's mine...I bought individual parts as I didn't like the idea of buying a brand new SCT only to discard 80% of it.
Using a cheapo TX and RX coz the micro Spektrum RX is too expensive! The ESC is meant for 540 sized brushless motor, so ESC heat will NEVER be an issue lol. This was the leftover ESC from my mini E-revo modding days. Made a custom rear extended mount from whatever I have laying around, and plan on adding lights later (still waiting for my lights to arrive in the mail beforeI whip out the soldering iron)
Body is taken from a x-mod that I don't run anymore.

Thanks! At the moment I'm digging the beadlock wheel look. Also, there's aren't much wheel options out there except losi wheels

Did you do the mod to the steering hub carriers? Makes a pretty big difference.

What is wrong with the steering? Mine seems fine, but that's also coz I built it 'wrongly'. I didn't know I'm supposed to tuck the steering slider under the front bulkhead, so I diy up a steering setup that works fine.

i just ordered 3 of these for my Micro SCT. i'm in the process of doing a full rebuild of mine with brushless, lipo, and bigger more aggressive tires. should be here in a couple of weeks, and then in a month or two i'll pick up the 8750KV BL combo.

sounds like your gonna have a very similar setup to mine. i'm gonna have the 8750KV BL system, 2s HK lipo, FSGT3B rx/tx, Losi servo, and i also plan on installing Micro Raminator tires and wheels on it to give it a lifted look.

For now, yes. I will be getting a lipo for it soon. I am re-building my Rustler at the same time and my wife put a cap on my spending. Between this project and my Rustler, I spent way too much. At least according to my wife.
