Status: offline 		Im looking desperately for an 8.4V 1000 mah battery for my RC plane. I need the hump pack over the flat one (the flat one won't fit in my plane). I have found them from companies overseas but don't want to order from them.

Are there any online US companies that carry this battery?

Also, Im new to this RC stuff. What does the mah stand for and can I use a higher Mah as long as I use the same voltage? I don't want to destroy my plane but wonder if using a higher mah will give me more flight time.

Please help!!!!!!!

Status: offline 		well I have tried but I am new to RC planes and am not too familiar with the battery packs.

I looked and did not openly see a 8.4V battery pack in a hump formation. I could have missed it but it's hard for me to find the type I want on there because it doesn't mention voltage.

This page my have my battery.

My plane came with a 8.4V. 1000 mah Nickel Metal Hydride battery pack.

I dont know the amp and stuff like that. The battery is a 7 cell hump pack.

Many of these batteries on this page don't tell the voltage. Can someone help me find a battery that will work like the one I just mentioned.

PS: Does it matter that mah as long as the voltage is 8.4? does more mah mean longer run time or what?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Measure the pack, make a sketch of it or be able to describe it - 1000 mAh 8.4 volts (7 cells) and call Dave at Radical R/C - he will be able to help you. What was the plane, where did you get it, that might also help in fitting the right battery.

The mah is the capacity of the battery pack - look at it like a gas tank - the bigger the number the longer the flying time.

Status: offline 		Try Tower Hobbies. They have quite a selection of battery packs. Just be careful, some are advertised as "7 cell" packs and others are advertised as 8.4 volts. Both are the same.
