Ok where do I start the A-10 left FEJ factory as two boxers but only one arrived Tuesday and the other box went on a road trip to LA and is have just arrived in Brisbane toady I unpacked it and its all ok

I will post some photos in the next few days…

I started with building the wings first the first step was to build the flap and aileron servo boxes and add some balsa gussets for add strength and started doing the control horns.

Well I’ve got one wing 95 percent done now I’m starting the other one now. In the wings I will be running the Futaba S9075SB S-Bus Servo 30.6Kg on the ailerons and flaps, I will order 6 of them in the New Year.

Well I have both wings finish so started on the tailplane servo boxes and started putting the radio trays in I made extra one up…

Do the flaps just slide in the tracks? are they fairly solid in their travel? looks good. any idea about what total weight will be and what turbines are you using?

Yes the flaps slide in the tracks and they are fairly solid in their travel. I have not weighed it yet I am thinking of running King Tech 140.

Hello Damo,

Great building ! , you are very quikly ! .

I start to built mine, the kit is very nice, all hinge are pre work by factory, the airspeed work very well .

Mine is the 1/6.25 and the weight in out of box (with gear and full option) is 13 kg, i will used two P100RX and the total weight with all equipement is 20,5 kg dry (w/o fuel) , excellente result by the honey comb !!

Thanks Eric I weighed mine yesterday with all servo boxers, fuel tanks (4), cockpit and pilot mine is 13.5Kg FEJ have done well with the weight. I just order the Multi Watt PRO lighting system for my A-10 from Details 4 Scale Thanks to Dan for all his help with this.

Yes weight is great for this big size .

So i beginning to cut the front tanks, because is too bigger for P100RX, now i a totaly fuel of 2,6 litre by engine (before was 3,6 litre by engine) .

For servo, i will used JR DES 707 BB MG for the rudder, Airspeed and the nose gear, and for other flap, aileron elevator Hitec 7955TG . For the power supply i use a powerbox royal with 2 lipo 6000 mah (i think we need weigth in the nose) and for the air sytem, a airpower EV5U .
I order a light system from airpower ( LCM750 + 2 afterburner 110mm+ osram led) .

That all for the moment .

Well I got the fins done it is a nice neat setup FEJ have done JR DS3301 fit very nice. I had to make hole slightly bigger. Started to bit more scale detail to my cockpit. And also I have order the FEJ ordinance kit for the A-10 1/6.25

One more thing I would like to thank James and FEJ appointing me the FEJ Rep in Australia (Fly Eagle Jet Down Under) My Web site will be up in a few weeks…
