Status: offline 		 Just got back into rc after a couple years and im very interested in 1/8th scale electric conversions. I have seen these hobbywing esc and motors all over the web. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about them.

Status: offline 		I've been running a Ezrun sc8 120amp esc and hobbywing 2700kv 550 4 pole motor for a few months with no problems in a sc truck . The thermal tape did come loose under the heatsink but that was a easy fix . I would have to say the Hobbywing stuff is the best stuff out if your on a budget ....... IMO you get more then paid for with the hobbywing stuff .

Status: offline 		150A 2000kv setup in a savage does fine on 4s
Also own multiple 60A, and 35A systems in various other RC's no issues with any of them

Status: offline 		im running 3 35a systems in various vehicles, I love em, cant belive the power from the 35a esc on 11.1v its enuff to make ANY 1/10 car,buggy,truggy & mt's with the right gearign fly & pul wheelies.


TIP with the 35a ESC, solder the fan onto the unbuilt BEC. That way u can run any volt battery without frying ur fan

Status: offline 		Been running a 60a for almost two years now with no problems. If you decide to get one spend the extra couple dollars for the programming card.

Status: offline 		I see hobby king all in the RC Driver magazines advertising some nice low prices. So since you have a hobby wing set up , what do you recomend for a crawler set up from them with a lil more speed ?
