If you want a different curve as I said in other posts here, Nyemi will even write it for you. He has offered twice. I think that is enough. There is no specific program to change the curves. It is written in ASM and requires that you input data to the excel worksheet then copy and paste the retlw values into the source code to make a new hex file by using the MPLAB ASM compiler.
Are willing to do this? If you are able to do this, I will email you the source code. .. If not, then you are stuck with the free hex file.

There is no C program. I said the program was written in ASM, not mikro C. That's why you edit values on the excel sheet to produce the Retlw values and copy and paste into the ASM program and then compile to hex.

Hello.
That I will write that is is not criticism further.
I respect the done work and work.
You created system which duplicates already existing.
But it is a lot of people which cannot find a way out for realization of the problems and unfortunately they are not able to program and nobody can help them.
I tried to find many variants successfully to work with models and anywhere did not find.
I do not trust manufacturers which confirm(approve) that their ignition universally and it will be good for any engine.
My personal expertize contradicts these words.
For example I adjusted(set up) systems of the present(true) cars and all of them have a home.
For an example it is a corner of my privately owned vehicle.

I do not trust that for the modeling engine 4 stroke will be an exception.
But in advance to calculate a corner not probably, it(him) select by hundreds experiments.
I as do not trust that 2 stroke the corner will be ideal, offered by you.
If for 4 stroke it is possible to use a variant of the next theme.
That solve a problem 2 stroke for Boats I cannot as which I want to realize modes небыли are enclosed(invested).
I want that the system could allow to support(maintain) to me to 30 000rpm.
And as I want to work with the engine productively and to do(make) experiments as to me allow to do(make) systems of cars - in real time. Thin adjustment is necessary to me.
And here the most sad anybody yet could not offers such variant.
Variant Gompy is remarkable but is not capable to satisfy my requirements for Boats.
*******************************************************************
Please you explain to me what for create systems which practically repeat.
I cannot follow your purpose if the end result is identical.
Systems do not understand temperature of air.
Do not trace density of air - they duplicate old not perfect(absolute) system of last century.
I am sorry that I can not run around like a mad - to do(make) motors and them to be improved and start to program microcontrollers.
And me it is sad that in the modeling world we got stuck so much time last century.
********************************************************************
I do not criticize you.
Understand me correctly.
I simply told that that feel many which fight as the mouse in a glass jar and cannot get out of it(her).
Best regards
Evgeny

Look what you get for your money.
I disassemble a RCexl original ignition.
I will show circuit.
I will show the original ignition curve.

I, therefore, not many people will love.

Hi Nyemi, is there any way to show us how to change the Excel sheet with Excel 2007?
I just installed it and am having problems figuring it out. We need an easy to use setup.

I am asking for other people so they have the ability to change it themselves. Mine is already perfect for all my engines and works excellent. If it is easier, more people will try it.

Hi CDI gr8flyer55

Yes.

I will soon show phases, with pictures.
The phases are described:

1.Enter your ignition curve green lane.( Excel= E4E259 line)
2.Optimize 'RETLW value "(Excel = K1).
It is that "ASM RETLW value (hex)" (Excel = NO4 - NO259) line.
Do not be a "00FF" greater.(1 table value register=8 bit=00FFmax value)
3.Take ASM file.
4.Copy into 'RETLW ASM value (hex) "(Excel = NO4 - NO259 line)
5.
Modify "RETLW value " ASM.   "NOP" number, reducing or increasing.
Example: 0.019
mS=19uS=16NOP (In the present case, ASM file)
                  0.023mS=23uS=20NOP
                  0.015mS=15uS=12NOP

6.Modify "ASM 458-917 RPM delay value " ASM
"NOP" number, reducing or increasing.
The blue line, "1" value.(Excel=I260—I515)                                                                                                                                                                                       Example: 0.018
mS=18uS=12NOP (In the present case, ASM file)
                  0.023mS=23uS=17NOP
                  0.015mS=15uS=9NOP

7. Enter the output time "dwell". In the present case, ASM file:1296uS

8. Enter the RPM limiter value.
The EXCEL P4 - P81 line and the C4 - C81 help.

In the present case, ASM file:9973RPM=C27—P27

9. Create HEX file using compiler.

Thank you Nyemi !!
Very useful information indeed. I will try to post a "text" version of the original ASM file I have for my curve that works so well for me. This way, you will only have to copy and then paste into notepad, save it and rename it with the .ASM extention to have the source code for editing. Should work if RCU can handle that long of a text. It ends up being 8 pages long with the retlw values being most of the pages. If that method fails, I'll convert it to a PDF file that you can actually download and save.

I agree that will probably work. Nyemi did a good job of keeping the lines short, so line wrapping shouldn't be a problem. I also notice that RC Universe does allow code tags, for example:

{code} insert the asm code {/code}

Replace the "{}" with brackets "[]".

The advantage of code tags, if needed, is that formatting should remain intact.

Yes, that's how I originally got the hex file posted, should work for the ASM file since it is just text anyway. I am glad there are many ways to accomplish these tasks. What we actually should have though is a dedicated web site for these projects and related files. Looking into a way to do this for free with password access.
