Does anyone knows if I can buy the SpyLinker system from a USA supplier?

For those of you who bought it directly from China, did you have to pay import taxes into the USA?

My problem is that I live in Monterrey México (just 150 miles South of Laredo Texas) and I have a private mail box (from "Mailboxes etc.") at Laredo TX where I could receive the spylinker package but the thing is that the guys at Laredo wouldn´t be able to pay for any import duties into the USA.

My other option would be to order it directly to my address in Monterrey México, the problem is that our postal service is not very good, it takes too long and sometimes things gets lost. On the other hand, UPS and FedEx gives very good service but charges too much for import duties, etc. I think my best choice might be to use "Mexpost" which is the mexican equivalent of "Express mail" from the US postal service but I don´t know what service the guys from China should use so it would be delivered by Mexpost.

Sorry for the long introduction, but I would like to know about your suggestions and experience with Spylinker from China, and if someone sells the same products inside the USA which would make things a lot simpler. By the way, I can pay either with paypal or credit card.

Thanks.

Don't buy the spylinker 1.2Ghz devices as I and others have tested their frequency output and have found it to be outside of the legal operating frequency for amateurs.

Try www.blackwidowav.com

His will cost you a bit more but they will help you avoid a possible hefty fine!

He is not in the US. He is in Mexico. I doubt that they even HAVE an FCC equivalent south of the border.
To answer his question, no, Spylinker does not have a store in the US. They are strictly in China. There were no import fees on the products he shipped to me in the US. $25 US flat shipping fee.
He is not in the US. He is in Mexico.
BlackWidowAv is located in Colorado. Like nearly all "legal" R/C wireless video systems, his systems require a valid amateur radio (ham) license and users must follow the Part 97 rules.

Only Part 15 approved systems can be legally operated license free in the USA.

Thank you very much for your replies. In fact a have a valid amateur radio liscence (XE2-ADB). The mexican equivalent of the FCC is called COFETEL (Federal Telecommunications Comission) but as you mentioned, spectrum issues in México are not as strict as in the USA.

Someone told me that below certain amount (I think it´s about $1000.00 US) merchindise entering the USA doesn't have to pay any import taxes. It seems that none of USA Spylinker buyers have had to pay taxes and so maybe I will just order it to my Mail Box in Laredo Texas and import it from there into México.

One more question, does this guy from China includes an invoice in US Dollars along with the package? I ask you this because I would need an invoice to pay for the mexican import taxes.

Thanks.
