Was thinking of going brusless on my  axial scx 10. Can I use a traxxas VXL3s ESC and velineon brushless motor and if so what mods do I need to do?

You will have a lot of wheel speed using the VXL setup.. But you will also blow the center stock drive shafts, so you should upgrade them. I run the VXL setup in my 2.2 scaler and blew the center drive shafts the first time i gunned the throttle.

I just want a lil more speed on my crawler. My rooster ESC , every couple of days be needing to be reset. Tired of having to do this and want to fix this problem or upgrade to brushless. This is the reason why i asked about the traxxas in the first place. help is greatly appreciated.

Axial sells a set of drive shaft rings that seem to wrong pretty well at keeping the drive shafts together.

In my 1.9 Cherokee, I am running the Speed Passion Rhino crawler setup. It isn't as fast as I would like but it is good in both running trails and crawlin over rocks.
