The generator exhaust and the numbers on the side of the cabin, which I am guessing is for the fisheries commission. I may change them to black, time will tell.

I just ordered all the finishing touches for the boat.

Life Rings
Life Rafts
Tire bumbers
intake vents for the motor room
Oxy-Acetylene bottles
55 gallon drums
Anchor
cable Hawse

That should finish it off pretty good. All the above should be delivered somtime next week.
My extra lights came in today and have been working on getting those mounted.
If you want LED's, one of the best places to go is "Radical RC". 4 LED's my choice of colors were 25 dollars. Per wired and all you do is plug them into a spare receiver channel. I also installed a mini toggle switch so I can turn them on and off. Next plan is the wire in a micro-switch with another servo to be able to turn them on and off from the transmitter.
The only other thing I'm thinking about is a couple of 1/24 scale figures.
Thats about it for now till Harbor Models delivers the ordered parts.

Status: offline 		I have been working on the lights. I didn't want the wires just running up the boom structure so I took another piece of tubing and ran the wires inside. Then just zip ties it to the boom structure. I had one light I just didn't know what to do with. The red flasher. So I put it inside the cabin near a window. Also just got back from Toy-R-Us where I picked up a deck hand.

My wife and I have been in South Carolina for a few days visiting some of our grand children and our daughter and son-in-law.  Had a great time.  Took my RTR Aquacraft Atlantic Tug with me and my grandson had a ball running it around the pond in their addition.  We really had a nice visit.

Have just caught up on your progress and it really looks nice.  Your Shrimp boat is really looking nice, you've done a good job.  Those little finishing touches will really set it off. 

An idea for your light wires; how about just painting them the color of the booms and attaching them with grey or black cord similar to that used on the nets?  You could run the wires up the side or back (forward side) of the booms and they would look like they belonged there.  That way you wouldn't have that extra piece of tubing.

Hey Bob,
Glad you had a good time down south.
I really didn't think about painting the wires. Good idea though. I think I'll leave well enough alone since everything is mounted.

Took it out to the local club pond on Sunday and everybody really enjoyed seeing it and it was pretty cool to see the booms and how they work.

Now that you ask ..................I doing research right now.
The one I'm looking at is,................. of course a scratch build .
Just not ready to say right now.
