Wayne, you seem to have a thing for Crustacean catchers so a Crab boat would be the logical guess.  That said I am guessing it's not a Crab boat lol.  Either way I look forward to following your build.  BTW, are you still headed up to fly in Lakeland in two weeks?

I'll probably swing by on Friday.  Saturday the 15th I will be at the huge car show (Lake Mirror Classic) in downtown Lakeland checking out the classic cars and the old wood powerboats.

You look like an 'old salt' in that picture.   Is the boat really that heavy?

Well Did I have the morning from Way down south. I'm in the process of having my blood tested when my daughter calls and tell me my other hobby is leaking all over the floor . It just so happens to be a 110gallon fresh water fish tank. Long story short, I rushed home, emptied the tank as fast as I could and returned the fish to the store.
Conclusion: The rear support (1/2" ply) had bowed just about 3/16" down causing the bottom of the tank to give way at the seal.
Working with the store right now to warranty the tank. It would appear to be caused by the lack of support at the rear center of the tank, which is where the seal let go.
Luckily I don't have any carpets, all tile and what little water did leak (20 to 30 gallons) followed the wall all the way to the sliding glass door and outside.
This all started about 7 am this morning and here it is 5 pm and I just finishing cleaning up and putting everything away.

On a positive note, All the stuff came in from Harbor Models. What great service..........
Mailed: October 03 at 8:14pm in Industry, California.
Arrived: Stuart, Florida October 05 at 1:12 pm

Two days to get all the way across the country.

Wow! That stinks. Glad the fish made it out alive!  You should have put them in the pond down the road and "fished" them out when your tank returned. lol.  You do have them trained to jump in a bucket when you blow a whistle don't you?

What do you guys think of the arrangment?
The fuel drums will have a chain on them.
If you think anything should be moved, say so. Its all just sitting there right now.

Looks good. I would hit those fuel drums with a coat of clear flat if they are not mounted yet.  I Googled "roof mounted air conditioner" and the shapes seem pretty easy to carve out of some balsa or cut on the scroll saw in a harder wood.

Well, good news.................The company warranted the fish tank for the full amount. Come to find out the tank has a lifetime warranty as long as its in an approved stand. Which it was.
Spent the day setting it up and this afternoon went back to the fish store and picked up my fish they were holding for me.
The only difference is I decided to swap them for a 90 gallon instead of the 110 gallon. It will be a littler easier to clean since I can now reach the bottom.

Alright, back to boats.

Here is the anchor winch I made.
Notice it has a ventilator tube. A thread spool and a 1/8 thick piece of flat plastic.

You're really getting her fixed up .  That looked like a piece of pine for the a/c unit, nicely shaped.
