I dont have a lipo that fits After spending a few minutes looking for a on/off switch I see it does not have one

On a side note it sure does sound ruff when you push it on the floor.

One of the nice things about it, is that they finally did away with the stinken switch.. Yes they are ruff sounding, but it could also be the gear mesh.

t9dragon: in this photo it seems the battery door isn't quite closed - can you confirm that it does close fine with this venom 5000mah 3s?

Still have not decided on a battery yet, what do you think would be the best 3s lipo from hobbyking for this truck? Think I will get the wheelie bar and the sway bar kit aswell.

It closes just fine. I have the door ajar to so that it has a tight fit.

You might have a hard time with the 2s hardcase lipos with the wires coming out of the side.

I was looking at that, If need be I can mod the case to have the wires come out the end. the 2s is more for my CC-01 trail truck.

Hey Red,

Make sure your wires don't rub on the right rear wheel. I found that the battery wires and the leads coming from the ESC were a little to long so i had to route them thru the roll bar and back to the battery box.

I did have to take my son's XS apart to get to the pinion gear. It isn't as easy as it looks to get it apart but it did go back together rather easily. They should have made the tranny case more accessible to get to the pinion then we wouldn't have to strip the truck down.
