Has anyone found a fix for the center drive cups? mine are starting to show wear from the pins in them, almost like dents. im assuming its from the torque when the pins aren't seated on the sides of the cups. and how much play is there supposed to be? i checked mine last night and it seems as if they have about 1/4'' of movement back and forth. they wont come out but...

You can replace them with hot racing hardened cups I have been running those for about 25 packs and no wear on them at all.

You can get them at liquidrc.

Normally no but I've been waiting three weeks for a bolt for my wheelie bar.   Moving the wires in and out of the box is a pain.  Not for me anymore, I removed the waterproof boot.

I picked up a slightly used losi 8t2e this weekend and have been playing with that.  I put the Qbase/alphastar 2350 in it.

Did anyone have problems getting into RCU forums the past few days?

Look good.  Which bug body do you have on the HP?

The bug body is the Proline 3238-60 for the 3.3 T-Maxx. I think the the next time I have to remove the servo's in either one of the XS's I will also remove that rub seal.

I have had issues when clicking the link in my emails for the XS thread. It will throw an error message.

All of the parts for the RTR and the SS are interchangeable.

ok so i ran the savage this thing is effing retarded on 3s its like a totally different rc than the 2s runs but this thing needs heat sinks and a fan fur sure it was thermally shutting down every tens mins cause of the motor getting so warm and im thinking i may need to put a taller pinion gear in for less heat

I run the timing low and punch at 70% on 3s and it never overheats.

nice dude. i gotta see it on 3s. hopefully it doesnt go up either. screw that. on 2s it will flip at half throttle, thats plenty for me. your stock diff cups are'nt gonna be able to handle 3s for long.

We had a great day bashing our XS's... Mine finally decided to call it a day when the pinion came loose. In all today I broke a rear shock end and split the front arm (I got that one on video), my son made it the whole day without any broken parts.. I will post pics and more video once I get home the internet connection where we are staying is a little slow... But like I have said before the XS is one HELL of a truck....

Can't wait to get mine running. Painted the body with a simple all white scheme and then went a little crazy with stickers. Looks pretty decent for a first time paint job.

Does the chrome on the stock rims chip/peel?

punch control. its how much of that 11.1 volts gets to that motor and how quickly. can make the difference of flipping over and not.

So i just went out to try and run the flux. and i plugged in the battery and hit the throttle and nothing. it wasn't beeping either. so all the esc lights work... neutral-yellow, green-gas, red-reverse. and the fan works. all the bullet connectors are good. and i even tried recalibrating it, and nothing. i checked the reciever and everything is ok there. but when i hit the gas, nothing happens. same with reverse. battery is ok as well. am i the next culprit that has to send this in, and wait a month for a replacement? or what could be the issue.

Sounds like it needs to be recalibrated to the radio or maybe you need to rebind the radio and receiver.

well turns out the esc died. that was the problem. a small puff of blue smoke and a faint pop. whats the whole process to returning the esc? like how much would it cost? shouldnt it cost me just shipping since it is still under the manufacturers warranty? i got it back in november.

I didn't think leopard motors made a 4 pole motor for 1/10 scale. Get the castle 1410 3800 runs cool even geared up on 3s and it is 4 pole.

Now do you see what I mean about the pinion coming loose? No matter how much loctite and no matter how hard you tighten it, it always seems to eventually fall off.

That's when you switch to red loctite never had a problem after the first day. I used the red just to be sure and it worked for me anyways. Getting the pinion off is a whole different story lol.
