Wow dude, you DID beat those little trucks hard! Good job!

In that first vid, is that 2s or 3s?

All 3 videos were running 2s..

Impressive. 3s must be total insanity.

I am going to run 3s in mine when we go bashing Wednesday night. And I will post videos of it.. I have a few more short videos that I need to load..

Does any one know of a good video editing program that is free where I can merge them into on video???

I disassembled the whole truck last night , I decided to hang on to it for a bit. It's now in pieces , I have a question to those who own one. The tvps on the bottom of the chassis snap into each other , there is one that does not on the bottom of the chassis. Looks like it could be a defect , does anyone else have this problem ? I know I saw someone with the same problem a few pages back. Just want to make sure before I change the pinion. And put the whole truck back together which is a pain.

I think the mini revo batts will be a bit small for this, but I may be wrong.

Sell everything including the batteries and buy the XS. I have 2 Mini Revo's hanging on my wall and I will be selling them soon to buy another RC.

The batteries for the Mini Revo won't old up in the XS, they are just to small in every aspect.

Well since you asked.... It is made by HPI and based off of the Savage line of trucks which in my opinoin and with stand a bashing better than any other monster truck that is out there.
Also the XS uses 1/10 electronics where as the Mini Revo doesn't.. and you can also use 2.2 tires on a XS without any modifications. Those are big pluses for me..

Ok, bigger motor, 2.2 tires... that's a sale for me...
Also sounds like this would be better for my girlfriends 12year old son, who loves to bash or should I say smash rc trucks! LOL
Ill have to check Tower and see if they have them in stock....
Thank you

My LHS has one in stock.

I got one for my 10yr old son and he loves it... In the videos I did he is the one driving and if it can handle the way he bashes then it will hold up in any circumstance.

Yeah, all the XS' TVP's have one part that is imperfect. i think they knew this and shaved it down so it will still fit together correctly.

Honestly, as long as the screw goes through it and holds them together, then its only an aesthetics thing.

ok if you say so , i havnt run it yet , i got it in peices now , what a pain to take this car apart and even do a pinion change. Im gonna try a biger pinion on 2s and 3s in a few days , swap out the radio for my futaba and most likely the servo to the traxxas 2075 before i put it together. even changing the servo looks like a big pain.

Personally, I find working on any RC a pain. I hate to take them apart.

so do i but this has been the toughest one for me so far and i have built and taken apart allot so you will have no fun with this one trust me. everything is a tight squeeze and a simple pinion change takes 30 minutes to an hour...
