Status: offline 		 Howdy as I said in my 'new guy' post I have some HL ideas and here is the first thing that really bugged me about my Tiger.

1st....I'm mailnly an Styrene kit bulider and most of that is lighted Sc-Fi models, some plastic
some resin.  so LED's, Light sheet and Optics are no strangers to me.....but my 1st love has and always will be WWII Tanks and Aircraft.

Now I may not be the 1st...or there may be kits available for this already but that goofy red LED on the main barrel housing
blinking when you fire the mini gun is like.....well.....geesh!  

So....here is what I did in roughly over one hour:

I drilled out the mini gun barrel then drilled out the cooling jacket holes....some are not that clean but...hey its not a static display
model....its for running over the neighbors cat!

Then I stuffed a aluminum rod inside then a smaller brass rod and inside that a 40 mil fiber optic.  I only have it lite up
via a lamp in the shot later  a 3mm 22000mcd cool white led placed behind it with a coned reflector and larger a 5mm 28000mcd cool white
led for the main Barrel...but thats a different custom and cheap barrel recoil story for later 

Everything I needed was lying around and did not coast one cent.  Hope you like it!  

QUESTION:  The Main Barrel on the HL Tiger seems a bit on the short side......am I right and if so....what length should it be?

very cool job!

the snow lepoard kinda has the same thing going except that the red flashing light is on the hub next to the gun barrel???

Good work.

The HL Tiger barrel is short. It is possible to buy the correct size barrel extension. The M-26 Pershing barrel is also short by about 30mm. I extended my one using an old pen.
