Three tanks on the new DLE 30 running Stihl Utra HP 40:1 and a Xoar 19x8

A little rich still and turning 6900RPM.

Pulls my AW Extra 300 (10.5 lbs) straight up forever. I'll take that!

xoar beechwood 19x6 stihl 40:1 7.9-8k rpm... i like this prop best for my 1/4 scale cub..it gives me the best vertical on my Cub

i have used 18x8 xoar bw, mejzlik 18x10 and a xoars sword 19x8

I quit keeping track of time on my DLE30 but it has over 10 hours and turns a XOAR 19X8 Beech the same as yours, 6900. It is not set rich and I am running Redline Two Stroke Racing at 40:1. Stock muffler. One thing I've noticed is the XOAR line of props load more than some of the others out there.

i think i need to retach my engine.... i dont see how i can get 1K rpm with just 2" less pitch than you guys running a 19x8 xoar beech vs 19x6 xoar beech

After about 100 flights now I have leaned it out some. I'm turning 7200 RPM with the XOAR 19x8. I'm using the laminated props now. They seem to run smoother and quieter than the beech.

Mine does turn a tiny bit more with the laminated props. Maybe like 7100 or so. I am going off the reading on my DX8 telemetry for rpm's. It's turning the 19X8 beech 8700 in the air on a Funtana 125. I don't hold it wide open for long because the Funtana is notorious for Aileron flutter problems. I've never personally had any issues but I have Hitec HS-7985MG's on it. If it flutters with those I give up. (Dual A123 2300's so plenty of holding power)

Jezmo,

That's a good data you have there. The rpm is about 1800 more in the air. Should be a good indicator of top end speed as well.
