Although the plane is not done yet...it seems like it will turn out at 211.25 oz.

30cc Homelite
71" x 14.25"
13#4oz with camera

is 30.oz/sq' too much???
is my math off?
...now what?

I'd highly recommend mounting the cam on the cg, and flying it first without it. 30 oz isn't too much for a plane that size, but it'll take some getting used to, as the landings are going to need to be quite fast, due to the higher loading. Next time, i'd go for a bit wider wing chord, that'll help reduce the w/l and give it a lower wing loading.

I just put all the specs into realflight on the bigstick.

I made it 15 pounds and selected a g38 with 60% power.
if the Home-r flies anything like the sim...i will be pleased to death.

I may make a new wing ofter first flight...we'll see.
Thanks for your input!

Man, I figured I'd learn about airplanes in a RC hobby, and here I am learning about airplane dynamics.

Thanks ChrisSpad!
