I am finishing up a SIG Something Extra at the clubhouse. In my workshop, I need to finish a CG Super Chipmunk, SIG 4*40, and a few other projects. I haven't decided what my next project will be.

Trying to make some headway on this Jet I started over 20 years ago.

Progress has been posted before. Set up for a Rossi prop originally. Prop is gone allowing for scale outlines. It'll use a Stumax 100mm Fan.

Here's some recent photos but there will be changes in what you see. Like intake area for one.

I've got one of those stuck in a corner that I started awhile back. Got the same engine on it as you do as well. I'd like to get to where I can finish it up some day.

Yep, summer in Houston is a good time to build. Here's what I finished this summer and maidened last Saturday.

Next on the hit parade is a mid 90's Desafio S pattern plane designed by Quique and kitted by Bolly. The fuse has the most beautiful glasswork I've ever seen!

It is going to be an EXTRA special build time for me. Going to do a Goldberg Extra first, then start on a Midwest Extra. Actually I cheated and got an early start on the Goldberg. Have enough of the wood glued together so it is looking like a plane. Hopefully I can get them both built and flying next summer. Now just need the snow blizzards to start so I have time to get them done.

My daughter wants another RCM Bridi Advanced Trainer after losing her first one this year. I'll be putting another one of those together... plans on the way.

I'll be finishing my RCM plans built Super Kaos with retracts for next spring... And I am choosing between another plans built Bridi Kaos 60 or a Bridi Sun Fly 4, or my Firemaster (J-Bipe conversion).

That is for this winter.

Next winter will be dedicated to my Bridi Escape.

Brian

I'm in the same situation. Too many projects unfinished. I have a Juno RC F-18 in a box at home also. I have a unfinished scratch built F-18 (RCM plans) which needs a power supply. Weight before engine is 5lbs. I haven't made up my mind whether to make this plane electric powered or glow. It's a pusher model. Dynaflite Skeeter needs to be monokoted. I just purchased a Sig Kadet  on the aution site for $40.00 for the kids to learn to fly on. No to mention some rockets to build. I lead the local 4H club in model rocketry.

You will love the Kadet as a trainer.  I learned on one and taught 2 of my sons.  Still flying after 25 years.

Building a balsa usa 1/3 sopwith pup. Glad I got an early start on it. Here in Michigan it won't be nice enough for that until late April.

I will rebuild a chinese .40 trainer ARF, finish a GP Trainer 60 and then finish a GP Sportster 60 that I started some 20 years ago. I will also have to pick another kit from my stash to get started on......

I had a Kadet Mark II 30 years ago. It's a nice big slow float forever trainer for the kids.

It's actually a pretty quick build. I plan on it being a nice model, not a scale masterpiece. As this will be my first gasser.

Just to the covering stage on a SIG 4*. I've always wanted one of these but never had one......going to put a Magnum 52 four stroke on it. Then assemble a TF 60 size P47 ARF while starting a BUSA 1/6 scale Sopwith Pup.

I always have a project on the board but the winter will be spent finishing a Nosen 1/4 scale Citabria from plans only. I have the pieces cut and a stack of 1/4" x 1/4" balsa ready for the butcher. I hope this one won't take as long as my first "from plans" effort which was almost ten years on and off. Humm, this one is already two years down the road. It just takes me a while to get started.

Sig YAK 18P. after so many years of looking, i finally found a full complete kit NIB. my start date for winter build's is always oct 1st . but this year i now have started on the fuse for this Yak. it's been a very long time for me to build such an old fine looking plane. so i feel great working on it. will try to use some brand new electric retracts. any idea's guys? engine should be a small new gasser. something around a 17cc size. i have a brand dle20 in the box to use on my new Waco YMF. those engines they make now are soooo small. cheap on gas to. they mount on rails like a 2 stroke 70. neat and easy! should take pic's as i go. don

I have a build thread going here on RCuniverse and am building a Hostetler Cessna 152. I am going to use a DA-100 for power.

Here are a couple of shots of the build. I do not know how long this build will take.

I wish all of you who are building sucess.
