Status: offline 		Here is the web site for the plan . The plan makes a 2 seat trainer that was powered by a 5 cyl Kinner radial. The crop duster variant 9 ( ther was one that flew in the '50's ) used a 7 cyl Continental. There is not much on the web- believe me I've looked to make the crop duster. But here is what I've found

Status: offline 		I might be ordering the 777 instead of the 7-35. After coming across this plane and watching the videos I am pretty much sold.

He used a saito 325 radial and the specs are similar to the 777. The weight is within 7 ounces. The evolution oil I have from horizon will work with methanol so I guess it will work for break in? Horizon doesn't list a 22x12 prop. Is a wood prop ok on this engine? Thanks!

Status: online 		I flew my UMS Evolution 777 radial engine powered Black Horse Corsair at our annual club War Bird event today. The engine and plane performed very well and were quite impressive. I had the only radial powered planes at the event and they got quite a bit of attention.

Status: offline 		Hi Guys,I am still looking for a reason to buy another radial(aren't we all), and I hope I might have found it.Just purchased a Great Planes Waco from Tower Hobbies,and I was once again thinking about the EVO 35cc radial,as it will fit in the cowl.The plane should weigh in at about 14. 5 pounds.While it certainly would not be overpowered,does anyone have any ideas on whether it would have enough power to fly in a scale like manner ?

I was thinking of doing the same. I know it has been flown with an OS FT 160 (twin cylinder 4 stroke) which should be similar in power. It is also flying the Great Planes PT-17 military Stearman which is an even better candidate.

It's power loading will be about 113 watts per lb. that is somewhere between scale and sport flying. It should be just fine.

I am getting ready to build a ScaleWings F7F TigerCat. I had chosed to run DA-60's for power but was worried about vibration on a composite airframe. I have read most of this thread and everyone that has these motors seems to be happy with them. I planned on the UMS-77 for power. I am wondering how much forward speed I will loose with radial versus a 2 stroke engine. I would like to run a 22x10 three blade if possible. Has anyone had any deadsticks with these line of engines?
