What are the limitations that a triple A receiver battery pack has over a double A pack ? I'm looking at the Hobbico HydriMax NiMH 4-Cell 4.8V 750mAh AAA Flat Rx U. Would this have limitations that a 760 mAh AA would not have ?

I'm looking at using this battery pack in a .25 size plane with Hitec Micros servos, but was wondering if it could be used in a larger plane with standard size servos.

Thanks in advance

Cary

A .25 sized plane can carry the weight of a 5-cell 2/3A pack just fine, so look for one of those.

Generally, the smaller batteries have a higher internal resistance but not always. Your peak safe current draw will be less for the AAA than for the AA as well.

I agree with Rodney. Wouldn't it be fair to compare the AAA 750 mah with a AA 2000+ mah pack though?

Maybe the AA are nicads.
