I lost my dad when he was 57 (I was 26). It really puts something in your mind after something like that. I find myself calculating how many years I have until I hit 57, stuff like that.

Status: offline 		I am 26 right now, and the older I get, the more I worry. I am a stereotype for Germans in the way that I am very loyal to my family, and they are my world. My father is hands down the BEST all around guy I have ever known, I think it would kill me as well to lose either of them. I shouldn't be too worried though, as people in my family, on both sides, seem to be incredibly resilient. My great grandpa passed at 104 years old. My grandmother has beaten breast cancer and recently made a full recovery from a broken back (at 71 yrs old), My other grandma passed at 78 to a combo of flesh eating virus and out-of-control diabetes, and my uncle who passed 4 days after her (last year) lived two full years after they told him the brain cancer would kill him in 2 weeks, but still, I worry. I think it is only natural to.
