the soundbar will give you pretty much what you get now from what i gather. if you want balanced sound, sell what you have and buy a set from the same series. if the bose have notable value, sell them and get a nice lower power pair to replace them. the polk monitor series has lots of positive reviews and the bookshelf units run about $150 for the pair. just looked them up to check current prices, they're $170 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882290202 and if you want a matching center http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882290210

Nice.. I haven't done deadlift for a long time.. it is definitely a difficult lift for me.. (afraid to hurt my back..) ha!

quote:

ORIGINAL: lee172

Did some deadlifting tonight (we have a competition where i train) i weigh 78kgs and managed to lift 160kg (325lbs) which i was happy with.. the top guys at my weight were lifting 240kg (528lbs!!)

I guess it wasnt a true deadlift, as we used a hex bar, so you get inside the bar and lift (less chance of injury) but there cant be too much difference performance wise..

I guess it's research time then!

Shipping the 701s (to a buyer) will suck. They are way too big and heavy.

Yeah, might have to. I hate Craigslist. You run across some scummy people there - and you actually have to meet them.

yeah you do. my sister's bf is selling his go kart right now to gets some extra dough for the apartment. his ad clearly says "due to recent financial trouble" het some idiot offered a mini bike and $30 for it he has a standing offer from me to buy it for $200 (half asking price) in 4 payments (it needs a new clutch, or else i'd make it $280) if he still has it next month, so they'll get the money either way but still.

Damn straight it's Friday! Can't wait for the weekend. I put in 50+ hours this week, usually 40. So I need some rest. I know, some of you probably will say "That's it?" Well I sit at a desk all day, it's not fun having to watch the clock 2 more hours a day.

I've got some shed painting to do for my father inlaw. He bought me parts for my XS, so i'm paying him back by painting lol. Tough work. It's a;; 20 gage 0.6c roof deck. Used it on the sides and roof and everywhere. sucks I can;t use a roller lol. I'll be putting together my XS too. Hopefully I get some running in this weekend. I've also got a wedding to go to Sunday that I'm in. Woo...

tonight was better than the past couple nights overall. took my phone to the store to get looked at. it needed replaced but because it wasnt my fault, it was free (all i paid was the $35 for them to look at it). i'll get that sometime this week hopefully. after that i went to my sister's place (i've been there every day this week now, probably end up there later today for something) for a while. played a game of rummy with her bf while they ate (they werent being rude, they offered to share but i just wasnt hungry). after that, we went bowling. i hadnt bowled in at least 6 years and i believe it was 10. my best score was 87 or so and if i hadnt gotten that strike (my first and only of the night), my best core would have been 64. the thing about that 64 is that i did that with my right hand. i'm left handed but i was using my right because i had broke my thumbnail. my sis went and got me a pair of clippers so i was able to use my left again. she wasnt bowling because the doc said no strenuous activities. we played 10 rounds (every Friday and Saturday they have $10 unlimited bowling) and he beat me every single time (then again he bowls a lot. like, have-your-own-shoes-and-2-balls a lot) but i had fun and that's all that matters. when i got home at 12:30, i promptly turned on the stove and deepfried some chicken fries, which are probably cold by now... stupid post

Is it (Kayaking) easy to pick up? I'm thinking of buying one, packing my tent and going on a bit of an adventure..

Yeah as long as you don't plan on doing any white water stuff when you begin. It's relatively straight forward.

Im strong and have a very strong back and shoulders, but I don't do free weights, I don't like the feeling, its alot more about technique than brute strength too... when I was in high school some kid in the weight lifting room crapped himself doing a bench press, that was hilarious!
