LB, what model would you use to do the conversion? The 801X or XT is a blast, even though I never built the X they use the same conversion kit.

But you have Cliff Climbers?????

I have one of those somewhere, never used it. I ended up building the Venom Creeper instead.

Once built properly the Creeper is a good rig, I did have that issue with missing screws but Venom did fix the problem and sent the parts. Are you looking for a comp crawler or something to fool around with in the back yard?

If you want a crawler I'm going to recommend the AX10 Ridgecrest... a comp chassis with a bit of Wraith mixed in. Means it will at least still be a bit more fun as soon as you run out of places to run. I thought I had a bunch of good spots too, but you run out unless you have a big canyon or something nearby. I love crawlers, I'm just saying as a noob to them you want to really consider just how quickly you might get bored with a compy.

Also, new plans perhaps for the scalers:

So I finally found an 08 FJ Team Trail edition with clean history. Not an manual, but I guess part time 4wd will do for now. Supercharger going in next.

Will see how long until I get sick of the wind noise and go to a Range Rover......

i've been in bed most of the day, got a cold really sucks, although it could have been worse, the high today was 47F and mostly cloudy, not the worst day to be bed ridden. had to go to the store to get some medicine and something to eat. now i think i'll go back to bed and sleep for another 18 hours...
