Heck yes! I wonder if they make like, some cheap caliper covers that I can paint the Brembo logo and work on lol.

2001 Hyundai Accent brake specs:
Front: Brembo 6 piston drilled and slotted rotors, ceramic pads
Rear: Duralast Gold drums and pads

Okay that is the ACTUAL definition of a RICER. Legit 100% ricer.

Only partial ricer. It would be the only thing on the car I am displaying that I actually don't have. I have the K&N sticker as well as the filter. Now if I had a Spoon Racing sticker and nothing Spoon related, I would then have to crash with myself in the car. You can't say Brembo caliper covers would not be cool!

I don't think I can find a Brembo caliper cover to fit my Brembo's.

Could be some generic pad covers, or you can paint or powder coat your calipers instead of ricer Brembo ones when you don't have brembos. Plus the tiny calipers would be obvious that it's not Brembo so that would scream riceroni also.

I don't think Brembo makes a caliper cover anyway.. it is all done aftermarket, no doubt.. ha..

Would be funny if Brembo actually sells a cover.. ha!

It is kind of funny that they have custom cover and the example they used was "Hennessey".. sort of want to see a real Hennessey run one of those covers.. !

Well that would have been the amusing part. Reppin' Brembo's up front, stock drums in the rear lol.

You can paint the drum to the same color as the cover.... I have seen many who did that..

I'm more into bolt-on performance. I.e. caliper covers

Maybe if the caliper covers are made of metal and you can let that act as heatsink.. that's performance enhancing right there...

Just some brake ducts.. that will generate more air than the fan..

Caliper covers? really??

I am sure you can get a bigger set (off the Hyundai Coupe??) if you want better brakes.. shouldnt cost a great deal..

I have Brembo discs but standard calipers which are pretty good, and the Clio 182 is said to out-brake a Ferrari 360 (according to Autocar..) not bad for a £6000 car..!

For one time braking performance, a lot of it comes down to the performance of the tires.. as most braking systems are capable of locking up the street tires... it is the repeatability / consistency lap after lap that's difficult to achieve..

But I am not surprised that your Clio can outbrake a 360.. !

I think they are just heavier cars, so a lighter car like yours with great brakes should be able to top that. But who knows I am no electrical engineer.

Ha.. not that 360s are bad cars.. of course not.. but most of them are not used for track and they were not sized / designed to handle the punishment.. for that, Ferrari have their more specialized model.. such as the 360 Challenge Stradale.. (and F430 has the "Scuderia").. for those hopped up version, they got significant upgrade in the brakes department.. (for F430, they later make the larger ceramic brakes as option on the "regular" F430)

Compound that with the fact the 360 came out many years ago, so the tires that came with the cars back then might not be as sticky compared to today's performance tires.. so when you compare the braking distance (I assume that you see the braking distance that was recorded by some magazine when they first tested the car), that needs to be taken into consideration too.. !

So while the 360 is still a higher performing car, but it is not a huge surprise if it lose out on the braking department to a newer / smaller / lighter performance car (that might come w/ pretty sticky tires)...
