Nah, guys I don't know if you remember, but I don't work there full time, only do biomedical/electrical contract work there with the occasional exhaust swap when they are short staffed.

As a contractor I don't have 100% access to there electronics sourcing, but that may change Jan 1st (fingers crossed).

I went form Vista to this. The only problem I had with vista was how slow it was.

Well, went to go to leave for work this morning and the Hyundai wouldn't start! It turned over maybe twice, then started clicking/buzzing. Think it's the battery. This car amazes me. Th eissues don't happen over a spread out period of time, they all happen at once. First the tranny, now the battery probably, which is another $100. This car will be lucky if I don't push it down in the creek behind my apartment.

Thanks for the reminder HedgeHog, but I thought here would be a more appropriate place to talk about my life unexpectancies. Plus, the Hyundai thread isn't getting as many hits as I would like.

Yea. Well the ridiculous part about it is that the battery is so expensive and it's a small battery. My parents paid the same price for an Interstate battery for a 2006 Ram 2500 HEMI. Im looking at $100 for a Duralast battery.

LB, I was wondering if you could encourage the Tamiya design team to release an Infiniti G35 shell (2 door) model/shell to match my current real life car. I cannot find any r/c version of it aside from one shell from RCMart which apparently is low quality and would be about 80 bucks shipped.

I know Tamiya wouldn't make the Infiniti version most likely so maybe you can push them to release the Nissan Skyline version of my car, same thing I will just make my own decals.

Speaking of which I am surprised Tamiya never release the 350gt Skyline shell ever.

Yeah, unfortunately the V35 Skyline was caught at an interesting time.. at the time it was a break from the tradition.. no more inline-6, no more GT-R model (so does not share architecture from GT-R), and it didn't get the support from the aftermarket / tuners.. most continued to develop the older GT-Rs (that uses the RB26DETT engines).. and then 350Z was released.. which took up the spot as the sporting model of the line up.. and then the R35 GT-R came out..

Tamiya makes a bunch of 350Z shells.. 370Z as well.. and obviously GT-R shells.. but no V35 Skyline.. and I don't expect that to change..

Yes, and I shall put a fuel cell in there as well. I was thinking of it for the longest time, putting a fuel cell in the trunk and closing it off, and having it drain into the gas tank, that way I could have more than 10 gallons, and would have to fill up less often. Like a 5 gallon fuel cell. Not sure how I would do it. I'm not a master fabricator lol
