Status: offline 		got an early christmas present last night, a red PS3 controller. the one that came with the system is showing it's age. the final straw was when the L2 spring broke. when ever i rest my finger on it the brakes activate when playing gt5. i hadnt realized how much wear i had put on it in the nearly 4 years i've had it. the left analog stick has about 15 degrees of play side to side, the grips have been worn smooth (there is some light texture all over the new one, the grips of the old one dont have any but some areas still have it), the r2 springe has a little less resistance and the tops of the analog sticks are a little more rounded than the new one (there is a distinct ridge). the one thing i dont like is that the plastic seems to be thinner. the lights on the controller shine through, which is quite annoying when it flashes.

Status: online 		I've got the same controller. Looks much nicer than the black one in my opinion. I don't play mine much, and have had it for about 2 years, so the joysticks have a little bit of the texture left. Plus I threw the black one one time over GT5, so I needed a new one lol

been there, done that. i'm surprised it lasted this long. it's been thrown, dropped, stepped on, stuck under a recliner and who knows what else and the first real failure was a spring. pretty stout.

Yea. Witht he way some thing are built today, you would think they would be brittle. Worth every penny of the $60 IMO

Im getting a Novak 13.5 brushless system and Spektrum 3c radio for my Losi Slider in January.

Status: offline 		Right now, I'm running off my HP Pavilion g6 that I bought about a year ago. Great computer so far. For xmas, I'm hoping to get nice drill (Corded preferred) and some bits. Also need a new set of cups joints for my Evader, and also a few PS2 games that I had in mind. (Yeah, I know... that should be PS3 games, but I just don't seem to have the extra around lately.) I have the PS2 hooked up to an old tube tv in my room. All the buttons are gone except the volume buttons, and the up channel. I have to use a popsickle stick to reach in and ground out the little button on the circut board.  But someday that will change.
