We had about 18" but the city kept plowing through the storm. The snow was a match for my blower though

It lost the fight and I can see why, that snow was really wet.

Only Paid $970 after tax and all that. It is ginormous compared to our Samsung 42" plasma! I haven't even played any games on it yet from the PS3, but just turning on the PS3, the home screen looks much clearer.

You guys got all the good snow. I got maybe 6". Kinda sucked. All the hype around town, and we got more last snow storm the day after X-Mas, which everyone just brushed off their shoulder after first hearing about it.

i'm looking at the maxamps website and i found something surprising, their prices are reasonable! you can get their hard case 2s 8000mah 150c pack for $150! for the same price on tower, you can get a 2s 6900mah 100c hard case from trinity or a 2s 7000mah 65c hard case from associated. i seem to recall a few years ago the same battery costing something like $300. i dont plan to ever spend that kind of money on a lipo unless i win the lottery, but still nice to see reasonable prices.

My package from Tower is supposed to be here today, containing my LX2e and some parts for my XS. I cannot wait to get out of work and tear into the package!!!!!!!! I'm still looking around for some batteries. HK is being a pain with the whole paypal thing, Hobbypartz has like, nothing in stock. So I've still got some work to do before getting lipos for it. But, that will give me time to look the Ofna over and check all screws .

But you never really pay the list price at Tower.. there's always coupons, etc. (Not saying they always have the best price, no.. but just saying..)

Well I created the paypal account, and I used my credit union debit card, and it says I cant use that and to choose another card for payment. Is it asking for an actual credit card? One you pay on every month? Cause I Have one of those too lol

Not sure about nowadays, but when I set my acct up, it needed a credit card on file as a backup at least, so that if you purchased w/out a PP balance, it can charge the card (every transaction tells you where it's pulling funds from, so it's no surprise). It also required bank account info from me too, for the same reason. The benefit of that is it's easy to xfer a PP balance into your checking/savings acct.

If you want to use your debit card, you link your bank account instead. Prob better to just use a credit card for buying though.
