Cause they look good for a brief period.. and you don't have to take care of them like a live plant..

I get it, I think it is a waste of $$$ too, but just saying...

Never understood giving flowers to someone, really a waste. They're already dead when you buy them, they're only going to die even more when you get them home.

I feel the same way. But both my mom and wife still really like it when I get them.

Another idea is an iPod shuffle. Wife is really getting back into running lately (outside, treadmill, whatever), and the only iPod she has is your normal sized touch. The shuffle is so small it would be nice for a workout. Or other workouts she's been getting more involved in. Hmmm....

it's not what you can give her, it's what you can take away. take the kids out for lunch and a movie so she can have a nice quiet day at home by herself.

Hahahaha...that would mean Interpol would be on my A$$ too then .

You know the funny thing about today's 'auction' is we actually sent a reporter down to cover it but that Enzo and 10 other high end cars weren't included in the sale. Someone's got this story big time wrong .

Hey now, that's not what I meant really, but I see what you mean. I mean she's been getting into kickboxing lately, running 5ks, stuff like that.

The important thing to remember here is not how you feel about flowers but more so how the person feels that your giving them too. I think flowers are lame as a gift but my wife loves them, she thinks RC related stuff is lame but she's bought me Tamiya stuff before.

"The Zurich newspaper reported Wednesday that the unnamed Swiss woman in her fifties decided to follow the radical fast in 2010 after viewing an Austrian documentary about an Indian guru who claims to have lived this way for 70 years."

Maybe we need to do some investigation on this guru... to see if he actually does not eat / drink...
