I'm thinking that before I risk self-starvation, I look into that factoid just a little more.

Eman77 -> RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0 (4/26/2012 4:55 PM)

Saw this craigslist link on another site, pretty hilarious. TBJ would be proud.

''The Zurich newspaper reported Wednesday that the unnamed Swiss woman in her fifties decided to follow the radical fast in 2010 after viewing an Austrian documentary about an Indian guru who claims to have lived this way for 70 years.''

Maybe we need to do some investigation on this guru... to see if he actually does not eat / drink...

yeah its bull, you need fat to support your brain, you need metals like iron, zinc, copper, and you need calories to keep your body alive.

the sun IS good for you and allows your body to absorb and create vitamin D, however we are not plants and we don't have the ability to photosynthesis, i can't believe someone tried it!

TBJ needs to post up an epic craiglist ad for the Paseo, yo! [:D]

You didn't just jack up the car and take the wheels to the tire shop?

Woke up at 6 and currently waiting for the AAA tow truck to show up. Ugh

No I don't trust people to leave my car like that. Got the tires fixed to the tune of 250$

I agree. If they slashed your tires they would likely try to knock it off the stands as well. I work for AAA, may as well give us a call and let us handle it. :D

That thing has extremely poor alignment on those panels.

I was going to say that. And it looks like the aftermarket speakers were installed by a 15 year old. Nobody uses those ugly factory covers except kids who don't know any better, you either use the factory covers or use something custom and a lot more discreet.

Exactly. Even if the sun or some other source could satisfy the energy needs alone, you still need minerals and other physical components to keep the body running.

Use the GoPro and make a video of you playing... !!

meh, old news. i want to see a 'stang roll off the line with one of these before they snap the axle http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=10355 . although, that might do the snapping for them! heck, i'd settle for this http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=11831

Lunchboxer -> RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0 (4/27/2012 2:02 AM)

Got to love American irons.. those crate engines are less than $10k each.. nice.. won't be able to get that from them European companies... I think a crate GT3 motor is about $50k.. (I know, it is stupid..)

cumquat -> RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0 (4/27/2012 2:16 AM)

they arent all cheap, the 5.4 out of the 07-11 gt500 will set you back 20k and those engines i linked arent complete, they require induction manifold, carb (yeah, carburated...), wiring harness and a whole bunch of other fiddly bits. but yeah, comparable euro engines probably have $5k+ shipping fees alone. one of my projects for when i win that lottory is to use the 427 in an offroad buggy[:D]

Lunchboxer -> RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0 (4/27/2012 2:33 AM)

I need to get one of those crate engines when I build a Cobra replica... [:D]

Eman77 -> RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0 (4/27/2012 2:37 PM)

I've always wondered, what does "crate" engine mean? Just any engine you can up and buy and slap in a car?

Lunchboxer -> RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0 (4/27/2012 2:54 PM)

Just a new assembled engine that comes in a crate... [:D]

Lunchboxer -> RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0 (4/27/2012 4:27 PM)

What's everyone doing this weekend?!

never been in a car before yours. they come off the production like and get wrapped in 2x4s instead of a car.

not a clue. i've been felling a little under the weather lately and this morning i woke up feeling like crap. if this persists, i'm staying in bead as much as possible. if i get better, i might do some work out back. i started a track back in march during that heat wave and havent really touched it since[8|]

Lunchboxer -> RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0 (4/27/2012 4:55 PM)
