mech, when do you start your new job?!

Not sure exactly, I'm supposed to get an email sometime this week detailing the days of orientation and training classes. I'll be working at a call center, these places have extremely high turnover so they batch process employees in large classes. In that sense, it isn't that different from retail, which also uses large classes due to high turnover.

I've mostly done retail work, aside from brief stints at other jobs like reshelving books at a public library. So I'm both excited and a little bit nervous to be doing something new to me. The closest thing I've had to this was an office type job working for a government branch when I was 16. I didn't really do much there, I mostly fetched documents and coffee.

documents and coffee , sounds like the best job in the world why would you leave a good job like that ? um by the way was there any classified secret documents on aliens and ufo's there ?

Fixed the 801xt (parts came in last night), ready to run again.

Eager to get the LB shipment so the Levant and Durga can be part of the running fleet as well.

My brother broke it. Slammed it full speed into a metal pole, impacted on the right front arm. Enough force to bend the shock tower, rip the lower arm off of the hinge pin, broke the rod end of the upper arm and the lower shock mount.

I think the first thing 801xt owners complain about is the "weak" arms on it compared to the shorter upgraded ones, but I really don't expect anything to survive an impact like this. It actually fared better than I expected. About $25 in damage or so. Used my vice to force the shock tower back into shape, saved $$ there.

Looks interesting. How is this supposed to compare to the Vorza or Trophy buggies?

Yeah, but I still don't get the Trophy vs. the Vorza vs. the Pulse. I'll have to read on HPI's site to see what's up.

Vorza is electric, correct. But they also have an electric Trophy truggy and buggy. The Pulse is nitro, but I'm guessing they'll make a Flux one too like they are with everything else.

Maybe the Vorza is a little older, and the Trophy is an update to that. Pulse looks a little more entry level (i.e., non-threaded shocks, less alum bling). This is what I gather from looking, anyway. Could be wrong.
