I vote Left.

Also, did you guys use Paint (as in, MS Paint), or Paint.NET? The latter is pretty spiffy. I haven't used the former in quite some time (used to be pretty crappy).

I use Paint.NET occasional on windows, but GIMP 2.7 has single window mode which makes it useable for me. MS Pain is just barely capable enough to resize an image and save it as something other than a bmp.

Bought some riding gloves today:

Darkfire, as I am looking at pics of YOUR setup through the screen of my 3 year old Acer laptop, I must say, I'm impressed!

Thanks Fahrt. I am on my computer all the time for school, so it might as well be something nice to look at. When doing a project or something all the screens are filled up, so the real estate is nice.

That NEC screen is a waste. I spent 600 on all 3 of my screens.

Even though I have a Alienware M15x and love it. You can build a helluva desktop for less.

the NEC screen has the advantage of only needing one input to reach that resolution and there are no bezels to interfere with the images, which is 1 issue i have with conventional multi-monitor setups. granted, for the price difference i would deal with the bezels but if the monitor was about 3K, it would be worth it to me. as for the laptop, i agree but there is the convenience factor of just pulling it out of the box and firing it up and not having to worry about a part being incompatible (one of the things i'm worried about every time i give building a computer any real thought). plus there is the comparitive portablility and, well, it just looks bada$$. yeah, i know there are some real mean looking towers but this thing you could take out in public and scare people with
