Started to clean the Tundra when I noticed the side view mirrors were missing. I guess the servo tape gave up.

Maybe you guys can help, I have a 94 Sentra and lately Ive been having trouble, it starts fine, idles fine until it gets warm. When I give it gas it wants to shut off. Ive changed the MAF sensor and it worked for a while but went back to the same nonsense.

Ive taken it to 3 shops and they cant figure it out. I want to hear what you all think. Im not about to junk it yet, it has 70,000 mi so I should get a couple of years more out of it.

The only one that came up was for the MAF sensor so it was replaced and now it shows nothing but still does the same thing

Have you ever stopped by a Nissan dealership? Sometimes they are nice and will tell you hey it's a common problem replace this part without asking for money. Something similar happened to an old car of mine and the dealer saw the problem so often they told me what to replace. It was the ECU, but I would imagine it's something different for your car.

That sucks, if it is ECU.. with only 70k miles, for sure, I'd hope that it would last a few more years!

Not saying it is, just some dealers who have dealt with the same issues over an over may have some insight.

The 2 dealers wanted $120 to do the diagnostics, I was trying to use that as a last resort

If you just had a tune up, that means the plugs are new and all that.. hmm..

I had a sort of opposite problem before.. it would idle and then even when it warmed up, the engine would be idling too high... and that was easier to identify as it was a temperature sensor.. (car does not know that it is now warm and still rev up the engine to speed up the warm up process) So I change out the coolant temperature sensor and it was all okay...

Yeah the plugs, belts, fluids, wires, distributor, hoses, filters are new, even the muffler and engine mounts are new.

Also changed the O2. Could it be bad injectors? Maybe it is the ECU.

A bad injector shouldn't be temperature dependent... ?

Just throwing it out there, I cant think of anything. When my other car acted up it was the MAF and it ran fine after I changed it.

When you hit the gas, does the motor sputter and then stall out? cause in think that would be fuel issue

Although I can't contribute anything useful to Collector's car issue, I can distract everyone with some pics of the Turnigy Trackstar setup in the CRT.5 (80A ESC, 3520 kv, 4 pole motor)
