Haha. That has to be arranged well in advance. You certainly go deaf backstage after the weekend. It is so loud.

LOL. Very funny....

Grave Digger is the worst. Doesn't run mufflers and the way his exhaust is angled(upwards) generates a lot more noise.

Been painting my PC tower all day today. Got sick of the white, last coat is currently drying. Made it black.

Well, did a little shopping last night. Finally got a new 4th generation Ipod touch, got the wife one too, and picked up an ASUS laptop. Pretty nice electronics. Got it all for under $1k. Next item on my agenda is a 1/8 buggy

Yeah my roommate had plasti dipped the rims on his S60R awhile ago. So we thought to use it for the computer.

Powder coating LB would cost more than a new case that was black. I spent 20$ on 4 cans to paint mine.

The good thing about plastic dip is that it non-permanent.. if you don't like the color, you can peel it off easily.. without needing to use chemical / media blasting to remove...

Exactly. Accidentally screwed up the door on my case. Just peeled it off and tried again.

The best finish will still be proper painting.. which is usually the most expensive.. Powdercoating is relatively cheap (compared to painting).. harder finish, but can't repair if scratched.. (can't really "touch up").. anodizing is very tough finish, but finish isn't as nice...

I knew a guy that had his own powdercoating stuff, and would do custom stuff for people for pretty cheap, he did some RC parts for me (springs and other stuff I forget) a while ago.

Not sure, I haven't checked there. I was really looking to get it from Tower, cause I have parts for my XS I want to get as well. So if I buy it all at once, I can get free shipping and $50 off the order. I really wanna wait for the savings, but it's killing me lol. And now, Tower is out of the ProLine 1/8 Badlands
