Wait wait, WHAT?!?!?

I got her roses, an ipod shuffle, and a cool camping sticker map she's wanted for a while (we camp quite a bit) for V-day. Lego Harry Potter yrs 5-7 for Wii, a wine cork barrel-shaped holder to store corks in (she saves them), and a kit to build a nice trivet out of those corks for her b-day.

Yeah she does, sometimes. Lego Harry Potter is her favorite.

Sticker map is a big map of the US, you put state stickers on it to mark states you've camped in or whatever.

Got it.. that's cool.. I have seen people put a map like that on their motorcycle's hard bag (touring bike) and they would check off the state once they have ridden there.. kind of neat..

Hey Guys what's up? I haven't been on here in ages...
Just wanted to share my current custom build that I'm doing... A proper rwd car!
It's mostly Tamiya parts being utilized on a custom chassis.

http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=71407

LB, as usual, you are 100% on Tamiya quality! Their brake disc rotor hubs are the only set I found that are machined accurately enough to build working front disc brakes!

Debating an upgrade on the dampers for the Baja F-150 I have. Uses the Mini dampers:
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=50599

Is this the same size as the TRF TC dampers?

I believe the "Mini" shocks are shorter than the standard TC shock.. these are used for some of the M-chassis car.. (like the M-03)

Well, I checked on tamiyausa.com to be sure. But I'd have to look at the manual (part numbers) to be 100% I suppose....

They are really freaking small.

...just checked, those are indeed the ones.

Wow, short!

Maybe check to see if M-03 uses those....

I'd have thought the truck uses at least standard TC shocks...

Yep, saw those, thanks. These might do it too if I want the blue:

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=54000

...or I could put TC shocks on it and see what happens. Hrm.

Will do. Guess I'll stick with the mini shocks since it's the right size, not sure if I'll gain anything by using TC shocks. Feels silly having mini shocks on a "truck" though.

Back from Monster Jam Worcester. Was a lot of fun. For the first time ever I had nothing break on my trucks. Thought the diff on the FG was fried but it wasn't.

Also met this family that was performing there. They are nuts! The kid was 10 years old. His sister was 15.
