If you've been watching the national, and even local news, you should be aware that there is another major virus outbreak.

This is one of those viruses that mails itself to everyone in your Outlook address book. It spoofs the sender's address as one of the people in your address book.

I have already received several bounced messages that rejected email that I supposedly sent. So somebody with my email address probably has the virus. It could very well be one of the spammers (and that's what it looks like), but it could be one of you, also.

Be very careful when opening attachments from anyone. Only open attachments that you are expecting.

If you would like additional information about how to tell if an attachment is a virus, I will be glad to explain some of the techniques.

Don,

I've e-mailed a couple of drug pushers ... I mean, "R/C racing equipment suppliers" ... in the past couple of days with no response. Could the virus be choking their systems, or do they just hate me?

Of course, it could be both ...

Thanks for any insight you can offer on this.

Duane

Your email server could be blacklisted temporarily if a spewing of messages came from it. So, if anybody in the CO government got it, yes, the virus could be causing you problems.

Try sending the email from your Earthlink account.

I was receiving the virus at the rate of approximately 75 messages a day for two days. It all of a sudden stopped today. Was certainly getting annoying! My incoming mail has appeared to slow some too.
