Instructions for 60 sized magic mufflers?
Hey guys, I know its old gear these days, but I'm sure someone, somewhere has the instructions for the magic muffler, namely the pipe length.
I used to have them but can't remember if it was for the 40 one or the 60 one.
Anything you've got will be better that what I have right now!
Cheers!

But Iagree, Pé is the man to ask here and it seems to be part number 3249.
An alternative would be to track down a Jett system if its a side exhaust that you are after, and even then Macs pipes may be helpful also.

Renegade, from what I have seen the original Ranjeet pipe only differs from the MVVS one in its length of stinger (well as far as I can tell by viewing it and without having access to the insides!)

If after a period I can't find anything I'll email Pé.

P.S. CKS MAC actually stands for 'Charles Kingsford Smith Model Aircraft Club'.

BTW I bought this muffler from Paul Lagan who I believe is in the Aussie Hall of Fame along with Ranjit Phelan.

No problem, if I'm ever in Perth you can shout me one of whatever passes for beer over there. What are you putting the magic muffler on?
Cheers

Magic mufflers must have been popular during the period from the early eighties to the late 90's when I laid off models altogether because I was more interested in full scale flying. Anybody have a picture of these magic mufflers?

I am very interested in seeing if this type of muffler can be modified for use at a much lower rpm.
Thanks.

Any chance of a scanned image of the instruction leaflet in that pic mate? I am very interested in seeing if this type of muffler can be modified for use at a much lower rpm.
Thanks.

A Curare most likely. I have a 61 VF just itching to use it.
