Status: offline 		Don't forget that the NASCAR Trib. Race is 10 days away.  Also the owner of the track, Mike Darnell, has agreed to have an "Open 1/10 Scale Oval" Race Class.  This means that anybody with a 1/10 scale on-road car (like 2WD Bolinks, Team Associated RC10s, or any other brand 1/10 scale on-road) can come and race on Mike's Carpet Oval track.

Due to all the people who are showing up with Bolink 2WD cars and Team Associated RC10 2WD on-road cars, Mike Darnell (owner of Mike's Hobby Shop Superstore) decided to add an "Open On-Road" Race Class for the NASCAR Tribute Race on October 29, 2011. This means you can bring ANYTHING you have from home to race on the carpet oval!

Status: offline 		If you were not at Mike's Hobby Shop last Saturday, then you missed the funnest race in Texas in the past 12 months! We will definitely have another one, but it may be a while. We have to wait until after the 5th Annual Fall Classic and the 2012 ROAR Nationals (both happening at Mike's Hobby Shop in Nov. 2011 and Mar. 2012, respectively).
